The cause<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

For 40 years in Madagascar, Stefano Scaringella, a man of faith and surgeon, has helped improve the quality of life for thousands of people in the Ambanja region in the north-west of the island. He developed a hospital there and operated thousands of people himself, then built the Maison des Enfants<\/strong>, a safe and functional home for abandoned children. In 2011, the Champittet Foundation<\/strong> built a school<\/strong> in Andrafiabe, where 200-250 pupils attend school every year. This was followed by the opening of a home for young girls<\/strong> in Tananarive and the development of the Regional Hospital<\/strong>, under joint management with local staff and the Fondation Children First<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, and under the caring guidance of Father Stefano, donations collected by the Coll\u00e8ge Champittet Foundation and Children First have continued to improve the living conditions, education and care of several hundred children and young adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In view of the growing needs, the two foundations, which have been actively collaborating for many years, decided this year to join forces for this Bal, enabling :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The construction of a building for the boys<\/strong> at the Maison des Enfants<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The creation of a scholarship fund<\/strong> enabling access to higher education, including the Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais d’Antanarivo and university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
